Shannon Tierney Flack is a Singer, Actor, and Violinist from the Washington D.C. area. At the age of 3 she began playing the violin, springing her love of music into action. At the age of 5 she began singing, acting, and dancing. Throughout the years she has performed in many countries around the world as well as across the United States. Most notably Flack has played Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family, Edinburgh, Scotland), Maureen Johnson (RENT) where she received a CAPPIE nomination for Comedic Actress in a Musical, and Rosalie Mullins (School of Rock) which was nominated for many CAPPIE awards including Best Musical. She has toured with the Washington Preludio Strings as a soloist on voice and violin playing halls across Germany, Austria, Italy and Great Britain. Most recently, Flack performed as a vocal soloist with the Tysons McLean Orchestra under Maestra Miriam Burns. Flack has received training from Laura Bergquist, Sal Viviano, Rachel Zatcoff, Alexander Rovang, Melissa Mino-Haines as well as many others. She is currently a student at James Madison University under the instruction of Soprano Dr. Dorothy Maddison. Flack has received violin training from, but not limited to, Ronda Cole, Dana Meyers, Stephanie Sims Flack, and Andrew Duckles. Shannon Tierney Flack is under Linda Townsend Management.
